Spline Mask vs Boolean - Cinema 4D Tutorial

Hi everyone, welcome back to the Williams and Grey Blog!
We had a job on for a client a couple of weeks ago and had a few issues with booleans and fillet caps on their logo . Basically, when you use a boolean to cut out from another object, there's no way of getting the fillet caps which are on the original object to replicate themselves onto the edges of the newly created 'booled' area. Most annoying!

After much experimenting we found a pretty simple workaround and thought we'd share it in the hope of helping people out who may be facing a similar situation!

Check out the video and let us know what you think - please rate it and add any comments or suggestion to it over on YouTube and don't forget to subscribe to the channel to stay up to date with any further video releases.

Catch you soon,
